Self-Contained Compactor

Self-Contained Compactors — For Wet Waste, No Mess

When the waste is wet — food scraps, restaurant trash, grocery prep — you need a sealed unit. The compactor and container are welded as one piece, so no leakage, no liquid in your dumpster yard, no health-code problems.

The self-contained difference

A self-contained compactor combines the compaction ram and the waste container into a single welded unit. When the hauler comes, they detach and haul the entire unit, swap in an empty, and leave. Because the seal is unbroken, liquids don't leak — making this the right tool for any operation generating wet, organic, or food-waste streams.

Standard sizes

  • 2-yardCompact footprint. Good for small restaurants, cafés, and food service with limited space.
  • 4-yardStandard size for full-service restaurants, hotel banquet operations, and small grocery.
  • 6-yardMid-size grocery, larger restaurants, hospital cafeterias, and food processing.
  • 8-yardLarge grocery, food distribution, multi-site cafeteria operations.

Wet waste applications

  • Restaurants and food service
  • Grocery stores (deli, produce, prep)
  • Hotels with food & beverage
  • Hospitals and cafeterias
  • Food manufacturing and processing
  • Multi-tenant residential with on-site dining

Why this matters: leak prevention & pest control

Open dumpsters with food waste in DFW summer are a public-health and pest issue. Self-contained compactors close the loop — the seal between compactor and container prevents liquid escape, controls odors, and dramatically reduces pest activity. For restaurant operators and grocery chains, that's not a nice-to-have; it's regulatory.

Indoor or outdoor installation

Most self-contained compactors install outdoors, but indoor installations work well when you have ceiling clearance and dock-door access. We'll evaluate your site and recommend the configuration that minimizes operator walking distance and handles your peak-hour throughput.

What we install & service

We work with Marathon, Wastequip, Harmony, PTR, and other major manufacturers. We coordinate the electrical, the concrete pad if needed, and the operator training — and we service the unit ongoing across Tarrant, Johnson, and Dallas counties.

Sizing matters more than brand

An oversized self-contained compactor sits half-empty and triggers haul charges on partial loads. An undersized one fills mid-shift and creates overflow problems. We size based on your actual peak-hour waste generation — not what's easiest to sell. Let's talk through your operation →
